The beauty of the \u201cseamless garment\u201d image!<\/p>\n

No one, not one<\/p>\n

exposed to the rude winds of the world,<\/p>\n

No one, however lorn or lost, out in the cold.<\/p>\n

No one rejected, no one unwanted!<\/p>\n

the unborn, the aged, ill, condemned,<\/p>\n

the expendable, \u201clives of no worth\u201d-<\/p>\n

no matter the tag,<\/p>\n

everyone matters!<\/p>\n

If these are expendable, who is precious?<\/p>\n

No one is expendable!<\/p>\n

Everyone wrapped in a vast enfolding embrace,<\/p>\n

a garment designed by God<\/p>\n

bequeathed to us we<\/p>\n

wear it proudly, tend it, repair it,<\/p>\n

cherish it, design it anew,<\/p>\n

yes, lend it , offer it everywhere!<\/p>\n

a baptismal robe for the twice-born,<\/p>\n

the woof and warp of our humanity!<\/p>\n
